What the repair includes
Replacement of the whole logic board with a new genuine one from Apple when the existing board cannot be repaired. The storage is tied to the board, so the replacement loses all data that is not backed up. Touch ID keeps working after calibration through Apple. The price depends on the configuration (chip, memory and storage).
