How we grade devices
Every device in our shop goes through a thorough inspection. On this page, you'll learn what each category and grade means and how the process works.
Device types
Our shop features three types of devices. Each differs in history and price.
New
Brand new, unopened device in original packaging. Full manufacturer warranty applies. The device has never been activated or used - you receive it in the same condition as it left the factory.
Used
The device was previously in regular use. It has not been opened, repaired, or modified - all components are original. We grade the condition as A, B, or C based on the level of wear.
Refurbished
The device has undergone a professional repair. At least one component has been replaced (most commonly the battery or display). As a result, it offers better performance or appearance compared to a similar used unit. We grade the condition as A, B, or C.
Condition grades (A / B / C)
We assign a grade based on the visual condition of the device. All grades are fully functional - every device passes a test.
Grade A - Excellent
The device looks almost new. No visible scratches or scuffs - minor signs of use are only noticeable upon close inspection at an angle. Screen is clean, free of marks. Battery above 85% capacity. The ideal choice if appearance matters to you.
Grade B - Good
The device shows minor signs of regular use - small scuffs on edges or light scratches on the body, visible up close. The screen may have minimal surface marks visible only at an angle, not noticeable when the screen is on. Functionally flawless.
Grade C - Fair
The device has noticeable signs of use - more prominent scratches, scuffs, or minor dents visible at first glance. The screen may have more visible marks. However, it is fully functional - it passes the same tests as grade A. The best value for money.
How we test devices
Every unit goes through a multi-step inspection before it enters our shop.
Visual inspection
We assess the condition of the body, display, ports, and buttons. Based on this, we assign a grade of A, B, or C.
Functional test
We test the display (touch, backlight, True Tone), cameras, speakers, microphones, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, fingerprint reader / Face ID, and all sensors.
Battery
We check battery health and charge cycle count. These figures are listed for every device. Refurbished units often have a new battery.
Software
The device is factory reset, signed out of the previous account, and updated to the latest supported software.
Warranty
Every used and refurbished device comes with a minimum 12-month warranty. New devices carry the full manufacturer warranty. If a defect occurs within the warranty period, we will repair or replace the device free of charge. The exact warranty period is listed on each product.
Pricing and VAT
VAT-registered entity
Goods and services invoiced by a VAT-registered entity. The price is final and includes 21% VAT. VAT is itemized on the receipt and can be deducted.
Non-VAT entity
Goods and services invoiced by a non-VAT entity. The price is final. VAT is not listed on the receipt and cannot be deducted. For regular consumers, this has no impact - you pay the displayed price.
