A comprehensive 30-minute diagnostic when your laptop isn't behaving as it should — crashes, errors, won't power on, or runs unstably. You get a list of identified faults and a repair quote. If you approve the repair, the diagnostic fee is deducted from the final price.
Full disassembly and cleaning of the notebook from dust, debris, and hair — fans, heatsink, vents, keyboard, chassis, and display. The "with repaste" variant additionally renews the thermal paste and pads between the CPU/GPU and the heatsink. We recommend it every 2–3 years, and more often for gaming notebooks or devices used for heavy workloads (rendering, compilation, gaming).
Replacement of a worn battery with an original or OEM-grade cell. Symptoms: short runtime, unexpected shutdowns even above 30 % charge, or a swollen battery lifting the keyboard, touchpad, or bottom cover. The price depends on the specific model, so it is listed as "from".
Replacement of the notebook's LCD/IPS panel — on higher-end models this may also be an OLED or touch panel. Symptoms: cracked screen, dead pixels, lines or flickering, backlight not lighting up. The price varies significantly based on size, resolution, and panel type, so it is listed as "from".
Component-level motherboard repair under a microscope — typically when the laptop won't power on, shorts the battery, or is unstable after a drop or liquid damage. Depending on the fault we perform BGA reflow, capacitor replacement, or power section repair. If the repair can't be completed, you pay only for the diagnostic.
Replacement of a damaged power connector — either a barrel DC jack or USB-C port depending on the model. Symptoms: the notebook won't charge, the cable needs to be wiggled into position, or the device won't power on from mains at all. We replace the connector itself or the entire charging harness if it's part of one assembly.
Replacement of a non-working, liquid-damaged, or worn keyboard. On most notebooks the keyboard is integrated into the top chassis (riveted or heat-staked), so the repair often requires swapping the entire top case including the palmrest. For that reason the price is listed as "from".
Replacement of the integrated M.2 Wi-Fi/BT card. Symptoms: networks not detected, weak signal, frequent disconnects, or Bluetooth peripherals won't pair. On many business notebooks (ThinkPad, EliteBook, Latitude) you can upgrade to a newer standard (Wi-Fi 6E / 7).
Replacement of the integrated webcam in the display bezel. Symptoms: camera not detected by the system, black image, noise, or non-working microphone (often a shared module). After replacement we verify in Teams / Zoom / Camera app.
Display hinge repair or replacement. Symptoms: hinge sticks or grinds, lid won't stay shut, cracked plastic around the hinge, screen falls under its own weight. Weak hinges are a typical issue on thinner plastic chassis after 2–3 years of use.
Replacing an SSD with larger capacity or swapping a failed drive. Most Windows notebooks use an M.2 NVMe slot (usually 2280), making the upgrade straightforward. On some ultrabooks and 2-in-1 devices the SSD is soldered to the mainboard and cannot be replaced — we'll verify this for your specific model in advance. We prepare the new drive and migrate your data from the old one.
Increasing system memory for smoother multitasking, virtualization, and large-file workflows. On business-class machines (typically 14"/15" notebooks with a service hatch) RAM sits in a SO-DIMM slot and can be replaced or added. On thin ultrabooks and 2-in-1 devices RAM is often soldered to the mainboard and cannot be upgraded — we'll verify this for your specific model in advance.
Replacement of a damaged or malfunctioning touchpad. Symptoms: no response to touch, inaccurate or stuck clicks, jumpy cursor, cracked surface. After replacement we tune sensitivity and gestures in the drivers.
Disassembly and ultrasonic cleaning of the motherboard and components after a liquid spill. Speed matters — do NOT power on or charge the device. We can save most laptops brought in promptly; corrosion that has been developing for weeks or months drastically reduces the chances. Charged as a flat fee covering labor and ultrasonic cleaning.
A clean operating system reinstall including activation, all required drivers, system updates, and basic setup. Recommended when the device is slow, unstable, has been compromised by malware, or you're preparing it for sale. Existing data is not migrated — for that, use our data transfer service.
We transfer documents, photos, email accounts, contacts, browser bookmarks, and saved passwords from your old device to the new one. Works cross-platform in both directions. Applications are not migrated — they need to be reinstalled on the new device.
Detection and removal of malware, viruses, adware, ransomware, and unwanted programs from your device. After cleanup we verify and update the antivirus protection to prevent reinfection. Recommended when you see ad popups, unknown processes, or any suspicious system behavior.
Replacement of the external power adapter ("brick") with an original or certified OEM unit matching the correct wattage and connector. Low-quality or underpowered adapters can cause slow charging, throttling under load, or even logic-board damage. We pick the right unit based on your notebook model.
Replacement of a cooling fan with a worn-out bearing. Symptoms: loud humming or rattling, whistling, unstable RPM, or the notebook shutting down from overheating because the fan stopped entirely. When replacing the fan we recommend cleaning the heatsink and renewing the thermal paste at the same time.
Most parts in stock. We still recommend verifying availability by phone.
